A 43-year-old Gillette man was arrested October 22nd on a warrant. The man is a suspect in two felony charges of aggravated assault and one felony charge of unlawful restraint. Gillette Police Lieutenant Brent Wasson, said the incident was reported August 12th about 5 a.m. Wasson said officers responded to an address on Sierra Circle when a 31-year-old female said she had picked up the suspect and given him a ride. While in the car he allegedly pulled a knife and refused to allow her to leave.

The woman told investigators she was held for over an hour, but was eventually able to spot her boyfriend in the driveway of a residence. The woman was able to pull the vehicle into the yard. The man allegedly threatened the boyfriend with the knife before fleeing the area. He was taken to the Campbell County Detention Center on three felony charges.
