At 6:45 p.m. on January 6th the Campbell County Fire Department responded to Four Corners Road for a structure fire. CCFD found a chicken coop fully involved in fire. The fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes and was contained to the coop. The cause was determined to be a heat lamp that fell from its mount and ignited the straw bedding inside the coop; damage was estimated at $1000. Ten chickens died in the fire.
