Local Man Killed in Vehicle Crash

  A 29-year-old Gillette man was killed in a vehicle accident on South Highway 50 near the Black and Yellow Road on February 5th. Campbell County Coroner Tom Eekoff identified the man as Ricky Lee Frisbee. Campbell County Under-Sheriff Scott Matheny said Wednesday morning that the Wyoming Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.  Matheny was able to confirm that emergency responders were dispatched to the area about 3 pm Tuesday for a report of a head-on collision. 

The Campbell County Fire Department assisted other agencies in clearing the area.  Traffic was significantly disrupted for approximately 3 hours. More information will be provided when the report is released from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
