At about 8:20 pm on June 12th, a tornado warning was issued in Campbell County. Emergency Management Coordinator David King said "rotation" was spotted on radar north of Gillette's city limits and just to the east of the Gillette-Campbell County Airport.
During an interview with Basinsradio.com at about 8:55 pm, King said no damage had been reported. King added he was not aware of any development of the system down to the ground. King said the warning was lifted about 8:48 pm.
