GILLETTE - Wyoming Game and Fish Department game wardens are looking for information about the illegal killing of several big game animals on the Clarkelen Road south of Gillette.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking information on recent poaching activity occurring in the Gillette area. On the evening of September 27 or the early morning hours of September 28, 2013 several big game animals were poached out of season on the Clarkelen Road south of Gillette, Wyoming. Warden Dustin Kirsch had the following to say, “These animals were taken out of season prior to the opening of big game rifle seasons on October 1st. This illegal activity was done with the utter disregard to human safety and took several trophy big game animals from the licensed hunters in Wyoming. These animals would have made great trophies when the 1st of October came around for licensed, law abiding hunters.” Last Updated on Monday, 30 September 2013 12:00Read more: Help Catch Clarkelen Road Poacher
