Sheridan Woman Dies in Johnson County Crash

On December 7th, 2012 Vicki S. Corroo (53) of Sheridan was eastbound on WYO 192 and Lester Greene (68) of Buffalo was westbound. The two vehicles met on a curve in the roadway near a hillcrest. For reasons unknown, the Corroo vehicle crossed the center line going into the westbound lane of travel. Both vehicles collided in a near head-on type crash. After impact the Corroo vehicle came to rest in the eastbound lane of travel facing southwest. Greene’s tractor trailer combination went off the roadway onto the shoulder and came to rest facing west-northwest. A passenger in Corroo’s vehicle was flown from the scene by helicopter to Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.
