The Gillette High School football team remains the only unbeaten team in Class 4A after the Camels registered a 47-7 road win over Rock Springs, Friday night.
Six different players scored touchdowns, offensively, for the Camels. Dustin Erisman took it in from one yard out, in the first quarter. Alex LaCasse scored his first touchdown of the season, in the second quarter, as he hauled in a 28 yard touchdown pass from Austin Fort. Tychun Aipperspach scored on a one-yard run in the second quarter. Kris Adams gave Gillette a 31-0 halftime lead with a 16-yard touchdown catch from Fort.
Fort threw his third touchdown pass in the third quarter, as he hit Cody Kelley from 15-yards out. Fort also kicked two field goals.
Kade Greer scored Gillette’s final touchdown, on a 21-yard run, after accumulating 67 total yards rushing on the Camels’ last possession.
The Camels close out the home portion of their regular season, Friday, against Laramie, after improving their record to 7-0.
