The Gillette Camel Football team advanced to the Class 4A semi-finals, Friday night, as the Camels trounced Evanston 47-0 in Gillette. Gillette led 31-0 at the end of the first quarter, and 44-0 at halftime.
Dustin Erisman had 117 yards rushing and two touchdowns, for the Camels; Gillette also got touchdown runs from Billy Williams and Austin Fort, along with a punt return for a score from Cody Kelley.
Fort kicked one field goal, and Cale Miessler kicked three.
The Camels will be home, next week, against Natrona County, in a matchup of last year's State Championship game. The fourth-seeded Mustangs beat fifth-seeded Kelly Walsh, 33-0, Friday night.
Number-two seed Sheridan beat Laramie, 33-0, and will host third seeded Cheyenne East, next week, who knocked off Cheyenne Central, 13-7.
In Class 2A, Mountain View beat Newcastle, 20-12; and in Class 1A, Upton-Sundance was shut out by Cokeville, 56-0.
