GILLETTE, Wyo.--The Pronghorn men were up 76-24 at halftime in Friday's contest to the JV squad of Colorado Christian University. This time they didn't let up in the second half like they did in Thursday night's contest. The final was 121-57.
Gillette College had six players in double figures by the game's end with everyone dressed to play getting at least twelve and a half minutes of playing time.
Colorado Christian got into foul trouble early with the Pronghorns making 15 of the 21 attempts they had from the free throw line in the first half. Colorado Christian had trouble from the field as well, making only 31.7 percent of its shots in the contest. The Cougars made only eight buckets from the field in the first half, 12 in the second.
The Pronghorns also out-rebounded Colorado Christian's JV squad, 51-37, with Gillette College taking the ball away from the Cougars 24 times off of steals.
The Pronghorns hit the triple-digit mark at 101 with 11:43 to go in the second half.
Gillette College will try to get a win Saturday night against a Williston State squad that defeated them 105-91 in Williston last Friday. The Pronghorns were without Dwight Anderson and Lorenzo Bonham, two starters for the team, in that game. Anderson and Bonham, as well as they rest of the squad will be suited up to play at 7:30pm at the South Campus.
