Pronghorn women get huge road win against Casper College

Casper, Wyo.--The (#21) Pronghorn women (18-3, 5-2) went on the road to Casper Saturday afternoon to face a tough Casper College (16-3, 5-2) team. They were able to come away with a precious Region IX road win, as they took down th Lady Thunderbirds, 63-39, at the Swede Erickson Thunderbird Gym.

The Pronghorns were able to box out, get the rebounds on defense and steal the ball often, Chelsie Pitt made a couple treys in the first half to put some space ahead of the Lady T-birds. However, Casper College was able to stay in the game until a third of the way through the second half. From that point on, the Casper College offense went cold, as it couldn't find the basket. The Thunderbirds made only 20 percent of their shots from the field.

The Pronghorns go on the road to Powell, Wyo. on Wednesday to take on the Northwest College Lady Trappers at 5:30pm
