Press Release – At the conclusion of last night’s Campbell County School Board Meeting, Superintendent Dr. Boyd Brown announced he is stepping down. Brown said he will resign as superintendent of the district at the end of the fiscal year, which is June 30th.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have a long career. The board of trustees is the envy of the state, we have amazing administrators, our teachers and staff are student centered and amazing, and the community supports the school district.”

No announcement on the replacement process was made last night. We’ll provide you with any updates on that process when they are made available.
