Fatal Crash Near Hulett, Wyoming

Press Release – On August 4th, 2018 a fatal crash occurred at milepost 18 on US 212/Haul Road near Hulett, Wyoming.  At 2:06 p.m., Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to the area for a two-vehicle collision.

A 2005 Chevrolet Trail Blazer was stopped facing westbound on US212 waiting for a group of motorcycles traveling eastbound. The driver of the Trail Blazer attempted to make a left turn onto Little Missouri Road a pulled out in front of a 2016 Harley Davidson Trike motorcycle. The motorcycle collided with the right rear passenger door of the Chevy Trail Blazer. Driver inattention from the driver of the Chevy Trail Blazer is being investigated as the cause of the crash.

The driver of the Harley Davidson has been identified as 54-year-old Bloomfield, Indiana resident Nancy Robinson. She was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

This is the 62nd fatality on Wyoming’s highways in 2018 compared to 87 in 2017, 64 in 2016, and 87 in 2015 to date.
