CAM-PLEX COVID 19 UPDATE

Written by on March 16, 2020

Gillette, WY, March 16, 2020 – In order to help contain the spread of COVID-19 CAM-PLEX is taking measures to limit contact between people. We are following the CDC guidance announcement issued on Sunday. The agency warned against large events and mass gatherings that include conferences, festivals, parades, concerts, sporting events, weddings, and other types of assemblies. CAM-PLEX is suspending events until April 5, 2020 and are working to notify event promoters. We will evaluate resuming operations dependent upon recommendations from the CDC, the State of Wyoming, and Campbell County Public Health, at that time and will notify the public of our status.  In order to maintain the health of animals, we are remaining open to individuals or groups no larger than ten people who need to exercise horses. We will continue to follow protocols established by the CDC and Campbell County Public Health. Protocols include specific cleaning agents known to be effective, increasing cleaning frequency, educating employees, and mandating anyone sick to stay at home.
