GCCA Releases Passenger Retention Study

Gillette, WY (April 15, 2013) – Gillette- Campbell County Airport (GCCA) this week announced results of its annual Passenger Retention Study. Specifically, the airport studied local air travel habits and “leakage,” which is the number of air travelers who live in Campbell County, but use airports other than GCCA for their travel. The 2011/12 Passenger Retention Study will soon be available on www.iflygillette.com

Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a destruction of property that occurred on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at approximately 2240 hours. Unknown person(s) shot an electronic sign located at approximately mile post 106 on the east side of Hwy 59, just south of Roberto's Cafe. The damage to the sign is estimated at $1500.00. Shell casings were recovered from the scene.

Campbell County Senior Center Health Events

A Blood Draw will be held at the Campbell County Senior Center on Tuesday, April 16th from 6a.m. till 9 a.m. The results will be available at the April 19th Health Fair. The cost is $10.00 to $40.00(same cost as at the hospital) depending on the tests you request. Registered Nurses will be on hand to go over your lab results at the health fair April 19th. Seniors 60 and over. Transportation is available. Blood draws, Tuesday, April 16th are from 6 a.m. till 9a.m. at the Senior Center. For questions, call 686-0804.

Dr. Sara Hartsaw receives U.S. Navy Commission

GILLETTE, WY – Dr. Sara Hartsaw, General Surgeon and Chair of the Campbell County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees, was commissioned as a Lt. Commander is the United States Naval Reserve on Thursday, April 4, 2013. As a member of the Naval Reserves, Dr. Hartsaw will serve one weekend per month, and two full weeks a year, attached to the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA. Though she has not received her orders yet, she will attend Officer Training School later this year in Rhode Island.

Public Forums Scheduled for Input on New Long Term Care Facility

GILLETTE, WY – Campbell County Memorial Hospital has scheduled two public forum sessions to continue dialog and gather public input on the new long term care facility. The first session is Thursday, April 11 from 6-7:30 pm in the Pioneer Manor main dining room. The second session is Monday, April 29 from 4-5:30 pm at the Campbell County Senior Center main dining room.
