Wendy Fields – News Director
Wendy Fields grew up in southern West Virginia with her earliest experience in public speaking dating back to her teenage years where she worked as a historical tour guide at America’s Resort; The Greenbrier and a motivational speaker to youth groups.
She moved to the sunny “Grand Strand” of Myrtle Beach, SC where she studied Communications/Mass Media as a member of the Teal Nation at Coastal Carolina University. Wendy is also a graduate of the American Broadcasting School in Dallas, Texas where she specialized in digital production, creative writing and voice over acting.
Wendy has served as a news anchor and field reporter in Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and the coastal regions of both Carolinas with nearly two decades in of TV/Radio media experience prior to landing in Gillette, Wyoming.
She is the mother of two athletic teenagers; Donovan & Kennedy plus five canine furbabies. Wendy is a “foodie” and enjoys cooking from scratch as well as yoga. Her friends know she is an avid sports enthusiast- particularly football and baseball. Her motto by which to live is: “Do No Harm”.
