CCFD: Apple Fire

Press Release – At 3:09 a.m. to West bound Interstate 90 at mile marker 97 for a vehicle fire. CCFD personnel arrived to find a semi-trailer heavily involved with fire in the trailer. The trailer was fully loaded with apples. Estimated damages are $50,000. The trailer and the contents were a total loss. The cause of the fire is believed to be from an overheated tire.
At 9:54 a.m. to Medicine Lodge Rd. for an emergency medical response, firefighters provided patient care.
At 9:39 p.m. to the area of N Heptner Rd. to extinguish a small controlled burn that occurred earlier in the day.
