Free Mexican Folkloric Dance Performance

Press Release – The Rockpile Museum is pleased to announce a free Mexican folkloric dance performance on August 12th! With support from Black Hills Energy, the Museum will host Las Angelitas Unidas y Los Rayos del Sol, a nonprofit folkloric dance group from Cheyenne. The mission of Las Angelitas is “Sharing culture through music and dance.” They will perform dances representing five Mexican states and will be available to visit with community members after their performance.
The Rockpile Museum recognizes the contributions of many cultural groups to our community and is excited to bring Las Angelitas to northeast Wyoming. Please bring lawn chairs and sun protection for this 45-minute outdoor performance at 3:00 p.m. on August 12th. Call the Museum at 307-682-5723 with any questions.
