South Carolina Requires Dash Cam Footage in DUI Prosecutions

South Carolina law states that in order for DUI prosecutors to seek full charges, video needs to be recorded as soon as an officer sees a suspected drunk driver to the moment the suspect is arrested and put in the patrol car. Mothers Against Drunk Driving are not pleased, saying that making dash cam arrest videos a required piece of evidence in drunk driving cases is making prosecutions more difficult.
