North Carolina Coast Braces for Hurricane Maria

The East Coast is bracing for high winds from Hurricane Maria, days after the storm caused devastation in the Caribbean.
North Carolina is expected to bear the worst of the storm, and current forecasts show Maria brushing the North Carolina coast on Wednesday morning. An evacuation is underway on an island on North Carolina’s Outer Banks in anticipation of the storm.
