Public Meeting For Mt. Nebo Cemetery Land Use Master Plan

Press Release – We are excited to announce the Campbell County Cemetery District is now conducting a land use master plan for its future cemetery facility planned for southwest Gillette. This planning effort is intended to help the District look at facility requirements well into the future – 100 years and beyond. This 200-acre site is located within city limits and is currently used as a pasture and hayfield. While the focus of this facility will be the long-term development of a new cemetery, the District is considering other potential land uses which would be compatible with a future cemetery. Public comment is welcome and encouraged.

An open-house style meeting will be held in the indoor shelter at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. This meeting is open to the public and all residents and landowners of Campbell County are welcome to attend.
