Fats Domino, a rock and roll pioneer who penned classics like “I’m Walkin” and “Ain’t That a Shame” and popularized “Blueberry Hill,” has died at 89.  Hailing from New Orleans, Domino was among the first acts inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and was reportedly only second to Elvis Presley in record sales with over 65 million records sold.  Domino’s death was announced by Domino’s daughter to a local television station, and was confirmed by an official from New Orleans coroner’s office.
