Campbell County High School guard Trey Hladky will be signing an official letter of intent to join the basketball program at Chadron State College in Nebraska Monday evening.

The 5-foot-8, 145-pound point guard averaged 23.3 points, 4.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 43 percent outside the arc last season, leading the Camels (17-10) to the Class 4A semifinals. A First Team All-State selection, Hladky led all of Class 4A in both points scored and assists per contest. He made 100 3-pointers, also tops in the state.  Hladky enters his senior season as the reigning Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Wyoming.

Former Campbell County High standout Kelly Moodry also signed to compete in track and field at the Division 1 level recently, signing with Boise State. Moodry moved to Sheridan for her senior year, but last year as a junior for the Camels, Moodry won the 200 and 400 meter dashes at the outdoor state meet, and took second in the 800 meter run. She also ran anchor on the Camels’ state champion 4x4oo meter relay team. The Camels won the team title at state last year with 126.5 points.
