Press Release – Campbell County Health Hospice and Home Health is holding its Hospice Volunteer Training on March 19, 22, 26 and 29, 2018, from 5-9 pm. There is no cost to attend the training and dinner is provided at each session. Download an application at www.cchwyo.org/volunteer.
Applicants must:
- be 18 years or older,
- complete an application and pass required background checks,
- participate in an interview with the Hospice Volunteer Coordinator Tina Dickey, and CCH Volunteer Services Coordinator Chris Buxton, and

Hospice volunteers provide family, spiritual and administrative support, help families with the grief process, and can provide respite care and more in the patient’s home, the hospital, long-term facility, Close to Home Hospice Hospitality House, or anywhere the patient calls home. Hospice is seeking volunteers for the direct patient support roles. Every patient is eligible to receive volunteer support, which can include companionship, emotional support, reading, letter writing, errands, respite, meals and visiting.
Contact CCH Volunteer Services Coordinator Chris Buxton at 688-1536 or email crystal.buxton@cchwyo.org for more information. Application deadline is Friday, February 16, 2018.
