Press Release – Each school year CAM-PLEX asks Campbell County teachers to allow their students to participate in a logo design contest. The logo is used to promote CAM-PLEX Heritage Center Theater’s upcoming show season. Participants include high school, junior high, and 5th through 6th grade elementary students. CAM-PLEX rotates through each grade level yearly. The 2018-2019 season logo’s designers were junior high students. Students were asked to incorporate representations of what the CAM-PLEX Heritage Center Theater is and what it does in their design. This includes the main motto “Where the Arts Come to Life!”. Aspects taken into consideration when picking a winner were the theme and purpose, creativity and originality, use of visual elements and translation to graphic design. This year the 2018-2019 CAM-PLEX season logo winner is Kallie Brenner from Twin Spruce Junior High. Kallie’s design will be featured on the cover of the CAM-PLEX season calendar, season t-shirt, and on the wall in the CAM-PLEX Ticket Office Lobby. In addition, Kallie will receive tickets to all Arts in Education shows.
