Weather Keeps CCFD Busy

Press Release – The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on July 29, 2018
At 8:23 a.m. to the area of South Bishop Road for the report of a timber fire. This fire was named the East Fork #1 and was contained at less then one acre. The cause of the fire was determined to be lightning.
At 10:18 a.m. to the area of South Bishop Road for the report of a timber fire. This fire was named the East Fork #2 and was contained to a single tree. The cause of the fire was determined to be lightning.
At 10:19 a.m. to the area of South Bishop Road for the report of a timber fire. This fire was named the East Fork #3 and was contained to a single tree. The cause of the fire was determined to be lightning.
At 3:33 p.m. to N. Garner Lake Road for the report of a funnel cloud that had touched down in the area. Firefighters were unable to locate any damage in the area.
At 7:49 p.m. to mile marker 33 on Highway 50 for the report of a vehicle vs. deer collision. Fire department units were cancelled prior to arriving on scene.
At 9:55 p.m. to 150 Sunlight Drive for the report of an automatic fire alarm activation. Fire department units were cancelled prior to arriving on scene.
