Joji Announces His Debut Album With “Slow Dancing In The Dark”

Joji goes dark for the first single off “BALLADS 1.”
Somebody in the comments of his new video perfectly pointed out that Joji videos require two things: blood and depression. As always, “Slow Dancing In The Dark” features those two things as Joji is as sad as ever, chain-smoking cigarettes and bleeding out after getting an arrow to the back. The track is haunting, serving as the perfect introduction for his debut album, which he is calling BALLADS 1. The name suggests that there will be further installments and although not much has been revealed about the project, he’s definitely hyped about it as evidenced through his social media pages.
The summer sound of Head in the Clouds is bound to be very different from Joji’s solo material and if the new single is anything to go off of, we’re in for a good cry when he drops.
