Ceremony honoring Gold Star families Dec. 3

Press Release – Wyoming’s Gold Star families are being honored at a
ceremony Dec. 3, at the Wyoming State Museum, in Cheyenne.
Gold Star families will place ornaments honoring their fallen member on the
Wyoming State Christmas Tree, at the 10 a.m. event. This year’s ornaments
will join ornaments provided by Gold Star families at a similar ceremony
last year.
Gold Star families are those families who have had a military family member
die while on orders serving their nation.
Gov. Matt Mead and Wyoming Military Department leadership are hosting the
event. The public is invited to attend.
