Advanced Carbon Products Innovation Center Receives $1.46 Million Dollar Grant

The proposed Advanced Carbon Products Innovation Center, (known locally as the Ice Pick) is now fully funded and should soon be in the construction stage after receiving a 1.46 million dollar grant from the Federal Economic Development Administration. The EDA grant will be matched with $1.46 million in state and local funds, and is expected to help create 40 jobs and generate $15 million in private investment.
