Gillette City City Council Seeks Grant To Extend Regional Water Service

Gillette City Council, at it’s regular meeting Tuesday voted to submit a Level III Grant Application on Behalf of the City to begin work on projects that would extend regional water service. The grant amount being requested, just under 3 million 78 thousand dollars. The City has received grant funding for four sets of projects so far connecting water districts within the Designated Service Area (DSA). This grant application approved Tuesday is for design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction funding for the Priority Five connections. Those include the Airport and Means water districts.
