The City of Gillette Solid Waste Division will be suspending Curbside Yard Waste Pick Up service effective Wednesday, April 8th. Solid waste drivers will no longer dump the brown Yard Waste roll out containers. Curbside Yard Waste customers will not be billed for this service for April. Yard waste can be disposed with your regular trash until the service resumes.
Curbside Yard Waste Pick Up will resume when the Yard Waste Drop-off site opens. The Yard Waste Drop-off site is closed due to complications from the COVID-19 pandemic. The closing of City facilities to public access has prohibited the interviewing and hiring of the necessary seasonal workers for the Drop-off site. When the recommended social distancing guidelines are lifted, this process will resume.
Visit the City website for more information on the Curbside Yard Waste program, or contact the Solid Waste Division at (307) 686-5279.
