Street Closures – 4/21/20

The City of Gillette announces the following road and lane closures:

Gurley AvenueGurley Avenue will be closed from Kluver Road north to the city limits from April 15th through May 15th. The reason for this closure is to complete the 2019 Pavement Management Schedule B project funded by Penny Power.

8th Street8th Street will be closed from Warren Avenue to Gillette Avenue from April 27th through May 11th. The reason for this closure is for street repairs associated with the 2020 Pavement Management Schedule project funded by Penny Power.

Kendrick AvenueKendrick Avenue will be closed from 1st Street to 2nd Street from April 27th through May 8th. The reason for this closure is for street repairs associated with the 2020 Pavement Management Schedule project funded by Penny Power.

Beaver DriveBeaver Drive will be closed from Melissa Drive/Court to Burma Avenue from April 27th through May 7th. The reason for this closure is for street repairs associated with the 2020 Pavement Management Schedule project funded by Penny Power.

Brooks AvenueBrooks Avenue will be closed from 6th Street to 8th Street from April 27th through May 26th. The 7th Street intersection will remain open. The reason for this closure is for street repairs associated with the 2020 Pavement Management Schedule project funded by Penny Power.

Highway 50Significant construction activities will continue on Highway 50 from Lakeway Road to Southern Drive through November 2019 and from May 2020 through June 2020. During this timeframe, traffic control devices and flaggers will facilitate 1-way traffic in both directions. Expect delays. The traveling public is encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. Truck traffic is strongly encouraged to use alternate routes.
