Gallery Show, Artist Christopher Amend

Press Release – Please join the CAM-PLEX Heritage Center Gallery staff for Christopher Amends’ “What Visions May Come”, on Thursday, April 13th 5:00-7:00 PM for a free artist reception. The show will be displayed April 3rd through May 26th 2017.

Artist Statement,

Christopher Amend:

“In my work as an artist, I use conventions of traditional drawing and painting to represent not the outer appearance of actual forms, but rather the inner workings of my mind.”… “As humans, we are hardwired for subjective vision, yet we yearn for universality.”… “For me, Art lies not in the creation of the image, but the dialogue between the image and the viewer. With each image, I have opened the discussion. The rest is up to you.”
