CCFD Still Very Busy

The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents:

July 24, 2017 

At 12:17 a.m. to the SA Road, Bow and Arrow Ranch, for a timber fire. The William’s Creek Fire was contained to .3 acres.

At 1:07 a.m. to N HWY 59, 60 Bar Ranch, for a power pole on fire. Fire crews contained the fire and turned over to Powder River Power.

At 6:42 a.m. to O’Shannon Drive for an emergency medical response, firefighters provided patient care.

At 9:06 a.m. to S.A. Road for the Ford Fire. The fire was contained to 1 acre in the timber. No resources remain on scene and is in patrol status.

At 9:39 a.m. to 1 mile West of the CC Airport for the Barber Fire. The fire was contained at 285 acres. No resources remain on scene and is in patrol status.

At 11:22 a.m. to Jack Smith Road for the Coon Track Creek Fire. The fire is in the timber and was spotted by air patrol. The fire currently continues to burn and is estimated at 800 acres. No structures are threatened. Resources will remain on scene.

At 11:40 a.m. to Bitter Creek Road for the Stallion Fire in the timber. The fire currently continues to burn and is roughly estimated at 1,000 acres. Several structures are threatened at this time. Resources will remain on scene and more resources are on order.

At 1:55 p.m. to the S.A. Road for the Powder River Fire. The fire is in the timber, resources remain on scene.

At 6:59 p.m. to 114 W 4J for an emergency medical response, firefighters provided patient care.

At 2:51 p.m. to 1908 Cliff Davis Drive, Holiday Inn Express, for an automatic fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, crews located a damaged sprinkler head in one of the rooms. Crews drained the system and found no other signs of fire in the building.

At 4:53 p.m. to 102 W Sunset Drive for a carbon monoxide (CO) concern. Firefighters determined the alarm was caused by a faulty detector.

At 6:59 p.m. to 114 W 4J for an emergency medical response, firefighters provided patient care.

At 10:29 p.m. to Ariel Avenue for an emergency medical response, firefighters provided patient care.

Additional:

The Margaret’s Draw Fire continues to burn and has been estimated at 14 acres.  No structures are threatened.

Resources remain on scene of Windmill Fire at 456 acres and is under control at this time.

The Cedar Draw fire was contained to 5 acres and no resources remain on scene and has also been placed in patrol status.
