Governor Mead to Address NACo Conference in Gillette

Press Release – Wyoming Governor Matt Mead will be a keynote speaker at the Strengthening Economies in Wyoming: A Forum for Coal-Reliant Communities conference in Gillette Oct. 8 and 9 at Cam-Plex.
The conference will feature a number of local, regional and national speakers discussing economic diversification and the future of the coal industry. Optional tours of local businesses will be conducted Oct. 10.
This free forum is sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) Research Foundation. It is designed to bring together stakeholders from the public and private sectors for an educational and interactive gathering to share best practices, lessons learned and new opportunities to support economic diversification.
