Press Release — The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center was one of four Wyoming nursing homes to meet the qualifications of the Innovator Quality Award. The award, presented by Mountain-Pacific Quality Health, recognizes nursing homes for outstanding performance in effectively using quality assurance performance improvement methodologies to improve care practices.
Awardees are required to be in good standing with Wyoming’s regulatory agency for licensing and certification, the Office of Healthcare Licensing and Survey, and must demonstrate quality improvement successes. This award, presented during the Wyoming Quality Health Care Conference on August 9 in Cheyenne, also recognized The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center for strong leadership support for providing quality care.
“Our team is committed to providing excellent care every day,” said Chelsey Petersen, Administrative Director of Nursing. “This award is a reflection of the dedication we have to our mission. The compassion our team demonstrates is incredible, and I am so proud to accept this award on behalf of our whole team at The Legacy.”
