CCH employee to speak at Wyoming Cybersecurity Symposium

Press Release – Campbell County Health Information Technology employee Harwell (Navar) Holmes is one of eight featured speakers at the upcoming Wyoming Cybersecurity Symposium on October 17-18 in Laramie, Wyoming. Navar is the Cyber Security Administrator for the health system in Gillette, Wyoming, and has been with CCH since September 2002. He has more than 23 years of IT experience.

Navar’s breakout session will outline the lessons learned from a security incident that affected some of CCH’s employees’ personal information in January 2017, as well as outline solutions attendees can use if faced with a similar incident.

Navar’s position at CCH identifies and mitigates possible technological threats by focusing on information security, while actively developing new education and communication tools to educate staff on cyber security awareness.
